Vendors on Boarding Requirements
1.How the unique page for sellers works and vendor onboarding
Our platform operates as a digital marketplace where approved vendors can list and sell their products and services. Vendors are provided with a dedicated seller dashboard where they can create product listings, manage pricing, track orders, and monitor sales performance.
To onboard vendors, interested sellers complete a registration form on our website and submit required business information. Our internal team reviews each application to verify the vendor’s identity and business legitimacy before granting access to the seller dashboard.
- KYC information collected from third-party sellers
To ensure compliance and prevent fraudulent activity, we collect the following KYC information from all third-party vendors:
- Full legal name or registered business name
- Valid government-issued identification (National ID, Driver’s License, or International Passport)
- Phone number and verified email address
- Business address
- Bank account details for settlement
- CAC registration details (for registered businesses)
- Enhanced Due Diligence carried out
Before vendors are approved on the platform, we perform internal verification which includes:
- Verification of identity documents submitted
- Confirmation of business registration where applicable
- Review of vendor product category to ensure compliance with marketplace policies
- Monitoring of vendor activity to detect suspicious behavior or policy violations
- Acceptable Use Policy
Acceptable Use Policy that governs vendor and customer activities on our platform. The policy prohibits illegal products, fraudulent activities, counterfeit goods, and any items that violate Nigerian law or payment processing regulations.
A direct link to the policy is available on our website under the “Terms and Acceptable Use Policy” section.
- Fulfillment structure
Our business model operates as a marketplace facilitator. Products are typically shipped directly from third-party vendors to customers after an order is placed. In some cases, we may coordinate delivery through partnered logistics providers.
- Holding of funds
Payments made by customers are processed securely through Paystack. Funds are not held indefinitely. Orders are processed and vendors are settled after confirmation that the order has been successfully fulfilled or within the standard settlement cycle.
- Handling disputes and issues
We maintain a structured dispute resolution process. Customers can report issues through our support channels (email, phone, or website support form). Our support team investigates the complaint by communicating with both the customer and the vendor. Depending on the findings, we may facilitate a replacement, refund, or vendor corrective action.
Vendors who repeatedly violate marketplace policies may be suspended or permanently removed from the platform.
